Something that may never take off....

I've always wanted to write a book. Like a fiction book not political or anything. Haha, dont let my first blog post fool you.

I have a world and characters that I can write about but as far as main characters go I'm kinda unable to think of anything. Should I do a boy or girl? What should I call them? How did they get there? Ok, now how do I explain that process to the average person?

It all sounds easier when I write it like that. :P

The truth is I'm stuck on the boy or girl, naming thing. Every time I think I have a character or set of characters that I like I turn around and with something like "oh wait I named them what?" or "I don't see where that was going."

I also have a serious issue with Mary Sues. I dont wanna end up with one, but they are soooo easy to make by accident. Just a few wrong words and misplaced flaws can render a character a Mary Sue with no hope of recovery. Does anyone know of a good way to not end up with these? or is the only answer to toss the character and start over?

Well anyway if I get something I'm willing to share I might post it here....I dont know what I'm going to use this blog for otherwise.... :\

Know what irks me?

You know what I just realized? Not all poor people are jobless bums living off taxpayer money.

Hilariously enough, the Congress and Senate do live off of taxpayer money, yet for some reason no one is complaining about them doing so. These are the people getting the tax breaks as well, not us poor people or middle class. And how much do they all cost by comparison?

EACH person in Congress earns six figures, $165,200 per year. How many of you make six figures? What about the Senate? Well the basic no leadership senators are payed the least amount, but its still six figures, $174,000 per year. Majority and Minority leaders $193,400 per year. President Pro Tempore $223,500 per year. Vice President $230,700 per year. the President of the United States of America? $400,000 per year. And they get that for the rest of their lives. Not just during the time they are in office, but forever.

What about people on Welfare? Well that varies by state and need, but its always well below what's needed to live off of. When I was little we spent around $3,600 per year in Welfare money, and that was on bills and rent. for those of you incapable of math, that's $300 per month, per month, to live off of. That was for me and my mother.

My mother has gone into a good chunk of debt raising me, but you want to tax us MORE just because you think poor people are scum. I'm not saying people dont abuse the system but we aren't the scum. Look again, the people earning six figures off taxpayer money who voted to give themselves tax brakes, the people who are single handedly destroying the middle class, they are the scum. They are the leaches! Go do something about them!

Because blaming the poor or middle class is what they want you to be doing. They want to distract you from the fact that they are the ones robbing us blind. Why would they do that, you may ask? Well if we're busy bickering over which class is dragging the rest down the most then we wont be focused on the real answer to that question.

Our own Government.
